In several communities of the North Caucasus Mission, a series of gospel concerts entitled “The Hand Giving Salvation” were held.
Musical meetings were held in the cities of Pyatigorsk, Mineralnye Vody, Georgievsk, and Zheleznovodsk. The concerts were attended by about 40 people. Praise to God poured in the recitation of poems, singing of children and adults, as well as playing musical instruments. Through songs, poems, and words, the participants told about Christ, how He was born, lived, died, and rose again for every inhabitant of our planet. The most exciting moment was to see the people who came for the first time.
A concert of sacred music also took place in the city of Zelenokumsk. The community carefully prepared for the event by handing out invitations and posting advertisements for the concert on social media. The concert was attended by members of the church, as well as guests who were happy to attend the Christian event. Everyone could hear the author’s songs about Christ and classical pieces performed on the piano.
After the musical part, Minister Nikolai Kachalov presented an art history review of Vasily Polenov’s painting, “Among the Teachers”, and explained the plan of salvation.
At the end of the program, the guests were presented with Christian books and newspapers.
In addition, a delicious lunch and tea awaited everyone after the event. Those invited thanked the organizers and were in no hurry to leave – they stayed by and talked for a long time and sang songs.
We pray that the Lord will melt the hearts of those who have heard the good news of salvation and biblical truth through these musical performances.
